All roads lead to 516 Arouca
How to get here:
You can start the visit to 516 Arouca either in Canelas or on the opposite side, in Alvarenga.
Independently of the entrance chosen, you must use the parking lots identified for this purpose.
Starting the visit in Canelas, through Paiva Walkways, you should leave your vehicle next to the river beach of Areinho, 1200 meters from the bridge, and head to 516 Arouca through the Paiva Walkways route. This pedestrian route is of high difficulty, requiring to climb 500 stairs to reach the entry point, which can take to 1 hour.
If you choose to start in Alvarenga, you should park your car in Albisqueiros, 1000 meters from the bridge, and head to 516 Arouca along the route marked for this purpose. This route is of low difficulty and has an estimated time of 20 minutes.
Keep in mind this distance that you will have to cover on foot, so don’t be late for your visit!
